Work at Home 4 U

After you have decided which work at home opportunity that you are going to market, it is time to get working on your internet presence. The following list is a guide for you to build your website. There are links at the bottom of the list for web building resources. Please email me if you want or need more information.

1. Decide what your store/domain name will be. Click Here for an article for that emphasizes getting your own brand.

2. After your web site is named, it is time to get a web host provider. Web hosts have the space for your web site to be stored/accessed on the internet. There are numerous companies that provide these services with a wide range of prices. There are also many free web host providers with decent services. Make sure you read all of the fine print, some have banners or pop ups that you may not want your site to be associated with. Your internet service provider may allow you to have a free hosted web site.

3. Next is the very large task of actually building your web site. Learning and using HTML yourself can be a time consuming process, but you will have the satisfaction of doing it yourself and learning a new skill. Hiring a web designer is another option, but can be expensive. If there a budget issues to consider, it may be best to use the templates included with free web host providers or your affiliate program (most affiliate programs give you a free web site). Mirror hosting is another cheaper alternative to creating your unique web site. This type of service allows you to purchase your unique domain name, then use their service to direct your domain name to your actual web site. I know of a service that allows an email address, your own keywords and links. Once your business is bringing in revenue, then create (or hire someone to create) your own unique web site.

4. Now that your web site is finally finished, then it is time to promote your web site. This is the key to bringing in business and profit. There are entire web sites dealing with this very issue. My best advice is to stick with it. If after 3-4 months, nothing is happening, then switch marketing techniques or switch affiliate programs. Patience is a virtue.
